Public Visits to CTIO

NOIRLab provides complimentary public tours to CTIO every Saturday, inviting astronomy enthusiasts to explore the observatory and discover the research conducted there. Participants will enjoy guided visits to the SMARTS 1.5-meter and the NSF Víctor M. Blanco 4-meter telescopes, gaining an understanding of telescope operations and the methods astronomers use to observe the cosmos. The tour ends at the visitor center, where guests can further engage with interactive displays and learn more about astronomy.
